This Privacy Policy explains how DealDeploy, Inc. ("DealDeploy," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website and our software platform (the "Service").
DealDeploy is a business tool. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect basic details such as your name, email address, and company. If you make a payment, our payment provider collects your billing details.
Customer content. When you use the Service, you may upload or connect data, including business contact information about third parties. We process this content on your behalf to provide the Service (see Section 6).
Usage and device data. We automatically collect standard technical information, such as log, device, and usage data, to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Cookies. We use cookies that are necessary to run the Service and to understand how it is used. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide, secure, and improve the Service; to communicate with you about your account and support requests; to send service-related and, where permitted, product messages; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with legal obligations. We may use aggregated or de-identified data for any lawful business purpose.
3. How We Share Information
We share personal information only:
- with service providers who help us operate the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it;
- as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets;
- when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public; and
- with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If your personal information was provided to us by a DealDeploy customer using the Service, please direct your request to that customer; we will assist them as their service provider.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or de-identify it when no longer needed.
6. Customer Content and Our Role
For personal information contained in customer content, the DealDeploy customer is the controller and DealDeploy acts as a processor / service provider. Our handling of that data is governed by our agreement with the customer, which controls in the event of a conflict with this policy.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Transfers
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., and we rely on appropriate safeguards where required.
9. Children
The Service is intended only for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
